Within Somalia's humanitarian crisis — which is rife with war conflicts, draught, and famine — lies an even more troublesome plight. Children are being recruited as soldiers by dangerous groups and made to fight on their behalf. These children are then denied any access to education, medical services, or other important necessities.

The children are often killed on the front lines of war. Because many of their parents have been killed as a result of the war, the kids are orphaned and don't have guardians to protect them. They are lured by promises of cell phones, clothes, and money, only to find themselves being thrust into the brutal conflict.

We must call on the UN to save these poor children. **Sign the petition asking UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to intervene on the behalf of Somalia's children, making sure they aren't becoming targets in an already devastating war on human rights.**
