Sea Otter populations are decreasing rapidly, and it's largely due to human-provoked environmental destruction. As our oceans become more and more inundated with trash, deadly chemicals, oil spills, etc, marine life suffers greatly. California's sea otters are especially in danger. 2010 marks the fourth straight year the California sea otter population has declined.
If we are going to have the chance of saving the otter population, we need to enact comprehensive legislation that would provide for research and conservation efforts. **Sign the petition in support of this important legislation that will enable and promote sea otter survival!**
