Reindeer in Finland and Sweden are in serious danger. Reindeer herders use cruel tactics to round up the animals, including loud snowmobiles and helicopters. The reindeer are then taken to slaughterhouses, where they await certain death. The reindeer aren't cared for properly while waiting, either. They're thrown into close quarters with other reindeer, and run the risk of gouging each other with their antlers. They also experience malnutrition and illness without the administration of a proper diet.

For many, reindeer are a sign of holiday cheer and Christmas tradition. There is no better time than the holiday season to stand up for these magnificent creatures. **Sign the petition asking Jonas Hafström, Sweden's ambassador to the United States, to see that this barbaric slaughter is put to an end.**
