The Trump administration has launched yet another major attack against our nation's wildlife and wild lands.

Again, it comes in the form of an Executive Order; this time calling on the Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke, to "review" at least two dozen national monuments that have been designated over the past twenty years under the Antiquities Act.

This "review process" is just a thinly veiled attempt by the Trump administration to shrink or even eliminate existing national monuments. It's part of a broader effort to open more federal lands to drilling, mining and other development.

As many as 40 monuments are threatened by Trump's order — that's more than one billion acres of wild lands and waters — habitat that the animals you love depend on.

And even more outrageous — this order allows for no public input before changes are made! That means that we, the American people, are cut out of the decision-making process entirely.
