I acknowledge that for those living in poverty, the impact of a natural disaster can be particularly severe, leading to long-term financial and emotional struggles.

As such, I pledge to take the following actions to help Americans who are the victims of natural disasters:

1. Donate to reputable disaster relief organizations

Organizations such as the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army provide much-needed support and resources to disaster victims. You can donate money, time, or supplies to these organizations, which can be used to help those in need. The people of Florida need assistance now and in the months ahead, as they recover from the damage done by the hurricanes.
