China just announced its plans to set up a domestic carbon trading program. And it is backing up these efforts with serious investments in clean, renewable energy. Last year, China invested nearly twice as much as the United States in clean energy technologies, and has now installed nearly as much renewable energy capacity as the United States has.

China is launching all these massive clean energy efforts that will create a 21st century clean energy economy. If the U.S. doesn't act now, we'll miss the opportunity to create jobs that American workers need.
