A small Pennsylvania drilling company played a huge part in rescuing the 33 Chilean miners who were trapped underground for over 64 days. Center Rock Inc., an 80-employee drill bit manufacturer, made the drill that eventually reached the miners and opened the hole for them to return to safety. Upon learning of the disaster, workers at Center Rock stopped what they were doing to construct a custom drill that would help free the miners. After the project's completion, the workers headed to Chile to begin the rescue efforts.

Without heroes like these, we'd never know what could have become of the Chilean miners. **Send a thank-you letter to the brave workers at Center Rock, Inc. that put their own lives on the line to bring all 33 miners home safely.**
