The Combating Autism Reauthorization Act (CARA) was reintroduced by Senator Robert Menendez and Senator Mike Enzi in June 2011. CARA would establish a national institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as provide much more comprehensive education, treatment, care, and support to families dealing with autism. CARA is designed to create further awareness about this difficult disorder.
We need legislation like CARA to pass if we are going to improve autism support in this country. **Please sign the petition urging Senators Menendez and Enzi to continue fighting for this important cause and urge his colleagues to support CARA.**
