Paws is an all volunteer no kill Cat Shelter located in Rural North East Ct. We help over 1,000 cats and kittens every year. We do not receive any state or local funding but depend on adoptions, donations and fundraising to help succeed

Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
