Last Chance Animal Rescue began saving cats and dogs from kill shelters in 2009, providing medical care and finding fosters and adopters. In 2013, St Francis Farm, located in Carlisle, SC was established. This beautiful 50-acre property situated in the middle of the Sumter National Forest serves as a "life guarantee" for every animal rescued. There are many circumstances that call on us to provide a haven for an animal that a traditional home cannot. These animals' needs require that "extra" something that our trained and dedicated staff provide. Please consider being a Foster, Adopter, or Sponsor for our farm residents! www.lcarescue.org

Help your local shelter & pets in need.
Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
