Empire Animal Rescue Society, (EARS), located in Salamanca, N.Y., is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation engaged primarily in the rescue, foster and eventual lifetime placement of companion pets. Other areas of focus include the trap/neuter/release of feral cats, facilitation of spay and neuter through low cost clinics, and endorsement of responsible pet ownership through all available means. We are a 100% volunteer, foster based organization. Animals in our care are accepted without regard to breed or severity of need. All aspects of what we do is aimed at reducing the pet overpopulation epidemic and alleviating the suffering that stems from it.
