Our shelter is a small, private owned, open intake shelter. We rely on the donations from you to continue to operate. On average, we take in over 350 animals a month and still are able to operate as a low-kill shelter with an adoption/transport rate of 99% of healthy, non-aggressive dogs and puppies. Our goal each year, is to fund low-cost s/n, particularity focusing on cats as they still remain a problem for our community. Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
