Butte Humane Society is a 100% donor funded organization. Our mission is to find homes and save the lives of less fortunate animals every day, all while inspiring compassion in our community. We also help pet owners in need through low cost and affordable veterinary services as well as a pet food and supply pantry. In addition we provide humane education programs for the community and students. Any contribution made towards Butte Humane Society will benefit shelter animals including their veterinary needs, housing and basic care.

Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
