Based in Thomson Georgia, McDuffie County, founded and operated by our director, Maria Salvaggio. We are a volunteer based rescue that saves dogs and cats from surrounding high kill shelters to give them a second chance at life. We save approx. over 1000 animals a year, we are a self supporting rescue organization that needs help to continue our mission

Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
