Meet Mir, a majestic lion. Located near Lviv, Mir had nowhere to go amongst the ongoing turmoil of the invasion. He was kept in a cage covered in filth without clean drinking water, and his future appeared bleak.
The team made a swift decision to get Mir to safety. Greater Good Charities helped fund his transport, and Mir has now safely entered into Romania and arrived at a zoo that can temporarily hold him until he's transported to his new forever home, Simbonga Game Reserve & Sanctuary.
