About Dixon
A good samaritan brought Dixon to Forgotten Treasures Animal Rescue after they found him shot, wounded, and left to die. A veterinary evaluation discovered he was also suffering from heartworm. Dixon underwent surgery to remove the bullet and is receiving wound care until he is healed. He is also receiving heartworm treatment. Despite fear and pain, this sweet guy was very gentle through his entire ordeal. Thankfully, he is expected to fully recover from his injuries and will soon be able to find a loving, forever home. We need your help to cover Dixon's medical treatment so we are ready to save and help the next animal like Dixon in dire need!
